what is your definition of love?

is it just when you feel like you can spend the rest of your life with that person?
i am sure many of you who has fallen in love before ever thought of this. i mean, if you really really do fall in love.

but what about sustainability? is your love sustainable? do you feel the same thing after you have been in relationship -let's say- a few years?


what is your definition of love?

is it companionship? when you are needing someone to talk to or to spend with, because you prefer not to be alone?

what about when one day you are too busy with something else? will you forget about your love? will you say that you don't need your partner companionship anymore?

is it having a faith? having a faith that you can overcome the rough path that occurs between you and your partner? having faith that no matter how hard the situation is, you will come back to each other arms?

what about being realistic? what about naiveness? how could you have the wisdom on knowing what you should do? how will you decide?

is it altruism? is it about being selfless? is it when you are willing to swallow the bitter for yourself? is it when your partner can have the banana and you can have the peel?

how about yourself? shouldn't you love yourself more? shouldn't you follow what's the best for you? but what is the best for you? to be selfless? but what if your altruism act make yourself being taken for granted. how can you differentiate? what is your limitation?

is it when you are feeling secure? feeling comfortable? feeling happy? feeling satisfied?

what about when things change? nothing last forever, remember? could you adapt? could you bring your happiness and satisfaction like the way they were?
