Brand New Day

it was so dark at night
so dark, it scared her

it was so quiet at night
so quiet as if she was alone

was she really alone?
no she did not

she thought she was alone
and that was what make her feel alone.

hours passed slowly
bird started to sing

sky started to shine
bell rang from far

she stopped crying
glancing outside the window

it was a brand new day after all
and smile drawn upon her face
